World Wide Day: Know the Unknown

Every year on the 3rd of March "World Wild Day" is celebrated across the world. A day where people all around the world strikes upon the opportunity to acknowledge and observe many beautiful and varied forms of wild flora and fauna. It never fails to surprise me how vast and wonderful this category is. This year it was celebrated under the theme "Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration." Which drove the attention of people toward the importance of conserving the status of some of the most critically endangered species of wild fauna and flora. It also raised awareness among people about the varied species they live among but have no idea who they are. Perhaps because one is too indulged in their world. Have you ever wondered about grass that grows on your lawn only to be chopped by you later could be an interesting subject to look upon on? Like grass come in different forms too. Or have you ever given a thought to how do crows survive? Probably not. Life is beautiful and these little species make it seem brighter and better and most importantly a lovable place. Knowing them makes you learn the struggle of their own. A hardship that no one knows they suffer from yet they stay strong. Coming in varied species this creation seems compelling but it also makes their survival difficult. Ending this blog is kinda difficult for me knowing how many species await to be acknowledged and those that exist seek love. Let's open our arms wide and not just one day but every day celebrate the Wild Day with wilderness and high spirit.
