"Kuler ladoo Or Kuler na ladwa are a Gujarati delicacy made in Gujarat from bajra Or peart millet. It's specially made during the winter as bajri (pearl millet) is very nutritious combined with jaggery and ghee, which creates a powerhouse of warming nutrients. In my household as I'm not a Gujarati, we make it during Shravan nag panchmi.
This is the easiest recipe that every person can make. It just requires 3 ingredients - 1 cup bajra (millet), 1/2 cup jaggery grated, and 1/4 cup ghee. Just mix everything in a bowl. Give it a good rub, slowly you will see everything combining. If the mixture is dry you can add ghee to it. Make ping pong size balls. And here you go easy and delicious dessert. It can be stored in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
Indian meals are almost incomplete without mithai. But the use of excess sugar often may be the reason for bad health. So here is the recipe made with ghee and jaggery. This one ladoo not only lends protein but also fiber and iron.
The aroma, texture, and flavor of this mithai are perfect to qualify it as an Indian mithai. Doctors also recommend this to women with PCOS, weight watchers, and heart patients. Moreover, this is for the festive indulgence only."
