Chinese Martial Art

Have you ever heard the name Bruce lee? The greatest martial artist of all time? While watching his movies we were a bit confused whether he was boxing, doing kung fu, or karate! So he did a blend of ancient kung fu. Kung fu refers to the Chinese martial arts also called wushu and Quan-fa. In China, it refers to any study, learning, or practice that requires patience, energy, and time to complete. In its original meaning, kung fu can refer to any discipline or skill achieved through hard work and practice, not necessarily martial arts. There are many forms of kung fu, such as Shaolin Kung Fu, Wing Chun, Tai chi, etc., and they are practiced all over the world. Each form of kung fu has its own principles and techniques but is best known for its trickery and quickness, which is where the word kung fu is derived. In modern times, Chinese martial arts have spawned the genre of cinema known as Kung fu film. Martial artists and actors such as Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and Donnie Yen have continued the appeal of movies of this genre. Jackie Chan successfully brought a sense of humor in his fighting style into his movies. According to experts, the real motivation behind learning Kung Fu is an inspiration and not force, which should come from an inner craving to learn and develop the mind and body.
