"There's theater in life, obviously, and there's life in theater"- Charlie Kaufman
Arts and entertainment have heavily impacted our lives and we would not be the same without them in our life. They had an impetus since the beginning of mankind. Every year 27th March is celebrated as the 'World Theatre Day' to spread the awareness and promoting all sorts of the theatre in the world amongst the people. It was an initiative taken in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute ITI. Many theatres, theatre universities and other art institutions celebrate this day with enthusiasm. Every year, there is a designated theme to promote the importance of this art and international harmony. In ancient India, theatre was often perceived as a way of communication. The great dramatists like Kalidasa, Bhasa gave birth to many dramas with their imaginations that were based on several topics and even issues that made them unforgettable till date.
World renown 'Broadway theatre' in New York City still hosts many Astounding Musicals to this day that have great productions. Theatre is just a way of putting yourself in someone else's shoes and seeing the world from their point of view, it has major impact on ourselves and plays a huge role in setting the influences for the entire generation as a matter of fact, there is a book named 'Natyashastra' that is the study of the arts written by Bharat Muni. All in all, the world is a big theatre and we are just actors in it.
