Firstly Happy Ganesh Chaturthi everyone, on this auspicious festival we will talk about Carving art. Carving art is one of the oldest types of art, wood-carving is an art form common to all cultures, from the Stone Age onwards, not least because of its widespread availability, plasticity, and low cost. Its only real drawback as a medium for sculpture is its perishability. As a result, bronze, and other types of alloys have been preferred for monumental works. Carving as a means for making stone or wooden sculpture, is distinct from methods using soft and malleable materials like clay, fruit, and melted glass, which may be shaped into the desired forms while soft and then hardens into that form. Carving tends to require much more work than methods using malleable materials. In today's era during the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, idols of Lord Ganesha are carved out of different carvable materials, this art has been in India for ages the art of carving is done so beautifully that people love it and thus the art is one of the popular arts in India, carving art is one of toughest and most stressful thing to learn as it involves you to carve something beautiful out of nothing and that's what an artist does. Hope you guys research this.
