World Kindness Day is a global day that promotes the importance of being kind to each other, to yourself, and the world. It is celebrated every year on November 13. The purpose of this day is to help everyone understand that compassion for others is what binds us all together. The concept was first introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement. This organization was formed at a Tokyo conference in 1997 when Japan brought kindness organizations of multiple nations together and emphasized the necessity of a global kindness movement. Kindness- a powerful word in which everyone should believe profoundly. When we talk about being kind, it doesn't mean being kind only towards humans, but also towards all the creatures made by God, to the flora and fauna, and the underprivileged. When we become kind and try to act compassionately, we can make this world a little bit better for everyone. Kindness has great power and, random acts of kindness can certainly help to spread positivity. Let our kindness inspire many, above all religions, and also not forget to be kind to ourselves. On this #worldkindnessday, I would like us to pledge, to be kind for no reason, and that’s love. Let us wider the meaning of kindness through friendship, love, caring, and sharing and spread the message of being kind and compassionate by making kindness a universal language.
